Foundry exists because clients kept asking the same question: can the people who already run our systems also build the software we actually need?

Why a separate division?

Development is a different discipline from managed IT, with its own process, its own tooling, and its own standard of done. Splitting it into Triton Foundry lets each practice stay sharp: the parent company keeps businesses running; Foundry builds the systems they run on. Same organization, same accountability, clearer promises.

What carries over from the parent company

Twenty-five years of operating business infrastructure carries over. Security habits from managing regulated environments. Documentation discipline from handing systems between technicians. Vendor partnerships including Microsoft and Sophos. And the unglamorous conviction that software is not done when it demos well — it is done when it survives contact with real users, real data, and year three.

Anywhere the work is. Headquarters and workshops are in Worcester, Massachusetts; the parent company operates offices in the US and EU and has supported clients internationally since 2001. Remote delivery is the default for most engagements, with on-site work arranged where the project calls for it.
